Once you are a member of the BASPA-User Group, it is necessary to notify the administration of the institute the dates you will be attending our facilities to participate in the experiment, so you are granted access.

It is a 1 MV tandem accelerator. Negative ions are provided by a Cesium Source (SNICS). Isotopically selected ions from all the periodic, with the exception of noble gases, table can be provided. Beam energies on target are limited to the maximum terminal voltage (1 MV) and depend on the charge state of ion in question. 2 MeV is the maximum attainable for protons and 8 MeV for 28Si+7. Beam intensities on target depend on the species.
A single-ended Van de Graaff accelerator with a maximum terminal voltage of 5.5 MV. Presently, the radio-frequency ion source provides positive charged (+1 only) beams of the following species:
1H (protons), 2H (deuterons), 4He (alphas), 12C, 14N, 15N, 20Ne, 22Ne and 40Ar.
